وقتی خرگوش نقاش که عمری با علاقه زیاد مداد خودش رو دستش می گرفت ، شروع به نقاشی می کرد ، با تمام علاقه و دقت این کار رو انجام می داد ، ولی متاسفانه امروز روز خوبی برای خرگوش نقاش نبود ،
امروز خرگوش نقاش ،نقاشی که تمام عشق و علاقه او بود ، به چیز آزار دهنده ای برای او تبدیل شده بود ، دلش می خواست ، تمام روزهای را که به نقاشی اختصاص داده بود . به کار دیگری اختصاص می داد.
امروز دوست داشت ، هرکاری انجام دهد به غیر از نقاشی نا امید شده بود ، از کارش خسته شده بود ،
پس شروع به نقاشی کرد ، نه مثل همیشه با بی علاقگی ولی ای کاش این کار رو انجام نمی داد ، هر چه بیشتر این کار رو انجام می داد ، بی حوصله تر می شد . به یاد خاطرات گدشته می افتاد به یاد قدیما چطوری این کار رو با رنج و زحمت یاد گرفته بود ،
ولی خرگوش های شهر او انگار ارزش نقاشی های  این خرگوش رو درک نمی کردند ، انگار آن روز تمام آرزوهای که به امید برآورده شدن آنها نقاشی می کرده بود . نقش بر آب شده بود .
انگار خرگوش روی آب نقاشی می کرده ، یک موج بزرگ می آید . تمام نقاشی خرگوش رو که روی آب بوده رو با خودش می برد . به کجا یک جای دور یا نزدیک اگر این نزدیکها ست ، آب رنگها رو بی رنگ کرده .
بعد از گذشت یک هفته خرگوش به کارگاه خودش بر می گردد . با چیز عجیبی مواجه می شود .
خرگوش اصلا یادش می رود ،برای کشیدن یک نقاشی چه کار کند ، مثل قدیما نمی تواند ، به راحتی یک طرح را بکشد ، برای همین دیگر این کار را ادامه نمی دهد ، ولی تمام این حرفها غیر ممکن ، امکان ندارد . یک کاری که با مدتها تمرین یک خرگوش یاد می گیرید به راحتی یک خرگوش آن رو فراموش کند .
شاید اصلا از اول این خرگوش این کاره نبوده .
در این مورد نظرهای زیادی داده شده ولی من قضاوت را به عهده خود شما می گذارم ،
آیا تا به حال چنین چیزی برای شما پیش آمده که کاری رو انجام دهید ؟
بعد از یک مدت دیگر علاقه ای به انجام دادن آن کار نداشته باشید ؟

Maybe this rabbit wasn't like this from the beginning.
